Even though there are a lot of controversies about Elon Musk, he is a genius and a great businessman. One of his many attempts is his famous, often-criticized idea of traveling to Mars, which he still says will happen soon. Another of his projects has always been to provide Satellite WiFi for the whole world. This is something that has been tried before, including a failed attempt by Facebook.
Nikola Tesla, one of Musk’s biggest influences, was the first person to think of a way to send energy through space without any interruptions. So, naturally, Musk got this idea from Tesla. Obviously, that was still something that couldn’t be done.
Musk’s project, on the other hand, is to send 4425 high-quality satellites into space. This is a huge project that will cost a whopping $10 billion.
As for the details of the mission, the satellites will be 41.81.2 cubic meters, which is the same size as the solar panels that will be on board.
As with everything else Elon Musk does, he plans to send up a lot of satellites. This is also what makes this project different from the others. He wants to send them all at once and has no plans to send a few first to see how things go.
